The bride wanted your not-so-typical wedding invitations chock full of old world charm.
To get that old world charm, much research was done of 1890-1920 era advertising. The use of hierarchical typography was paramount in pulling the entire design together.
I would have liked to see the design either screen- or letterpress-printed on heavier stock but budget dictated otherwise.
Invitation set consisted of the invite, response card, and reception card. Final design was printed on a cream linen stock and tea-dyed by the bride’s sister to give the project even more of that old world feel.
